Regarding: The Football Club

Question\Query: To Whom it may concern, As a Stockport supporter, and Trust member, I feel I have to ask this question following on from recent whisperings. Can the club confirm or deny if there is any substance to the rumour that the football club may be currently in the process of being bought over or invested in? I have heard this from various credible sources and am slightly concerned. As we have seen recently with all the comings and goings at the Club/Trust boardroom levels it seems there is little stability around both organisations at present. A change in ownership, or other investors coming in, would explain these events. With the success of last season and great times we are enjoying on the pitch, going into a new season with issues off the pitch I feel we can do without. Jim and the lads have worked wonders bringing winning, and entertaining!, football to us and I hope that continues. Obviously, if this situation is ongoing at the moment and dealings are taking place I understand the need for such things to remain private. However, as a 'fan orientated and managed club' I do feel some levels of communication on this matter (if true!!!!) are required.
