Smoking at EP

Smoking At EP....... I realise this is a national decision and not a County one. But I'd like to think we could use some form of common sense on this. Other clubs allow a designated smoking area even if it means leaving the ground for 5 minutes. Or jsut at Half Time. I don't know about anyone else but I find it diffcult over the course of 90 minutes to not be able to have a cigarette. I find it pretty annoying really as it's a pastime along with a pint I've always enjoyed. I feel an outright ban is too much too soon and I'd like to be able to have the choice. So I'm appealing to the club given the ground is outdoors there are sections that could easily be a designated smoking area, even if its just for 15 minutes at half time. The corner of the Cheadle End has a large open space. Which after kick off is quiet and no one around I fail to see why that couldn't have an area for smokers. Failing that, we could do what other clubs do or indeed what we did last season in the Executive seats and thats allow fans to go out the door/gates for 5 minutes for a smoke. To me that should be the last resort. There has to be a better solution than how it currently is. Don't get me wrong I'm all for it being outlawed in the stands, bars, enclosed areas and I fully agree with that. But there should be an option for smokers! It seems terribly unfair and a little offputting during the match. Given we're a Supporters owned club, I'd like see something done about this than just a default 'NO' answer
