Martin White brings us the latest Trust News
The Trust AGM was held on the 29th October, and for those of you with internet access, the minutes from the AGM are now available on the Trust website. I was the lucky person taking the minutes, and there are fifteen pages of notes from the meeting available. So if you couldn’t make it, once you have read them it should feel like you were there.
We are very aware than many fans don’t have internet access, and if you wish to view a copy of the AGM minutes, can you please visit the Trust Stall that is now based at every home game. We will have printed copies located on the stall that you can read.
From a personal point of view, I’m glad the AGM has finished for another year – it took around three months of planning and a lot of work. The next steps are to ensure that the rule changes passed at the AGM are ratified by the Financial Services Authority, which I will be doing in the next couple of weeks. The amended copy of the rules will then be made available to all.
It’s not the most exciting of tasks to complete it must be said, but it is essential to make sure that we meet our rules and are proper in how we conduct ourselves as a Trust. Supporters Direct have been extremely helpful during the run up to the AGM, and we continue to use them to gain greater knowledge of how we should run the Trust and ensure compliance with their methods.
From an overall Trust point of view, it has certainly been a busy period recently, the Trust raffle has also now finished, thank you to everyone who bought a ticket. The winning numbers are below, and winners are being contacted at the moment by Steve Bedder.

In other news, the Local Business Affiliate scheme is still running well, and there will be another issue of “Trust Talk” being handed out in the not too distant future. We have also received some excellent ideas from members which are being reviewed to see how we can incorporate them.
