The Trust part of True Blue this week is mainly taken up with details of the Grand Raffle and we'd urge everyone to buy tickets at just £1 each! The money is going towards the Rainy Day Fund, which was set up to provide a source of funds which could be lent to the club in the event of there being a temporary issue with cash flow. At a relatively small club like County, there might be cashflow issues if for instance we had a series of postponements caused by the weather.

Stockport County is being run in an ever more professional way, with the objective of breaking even or better each year, while at the same time spending enough money on the squad to meet our ambitions to progress up the league. Quite simply, the more money that sits in the Rainy Day fund, the safer it is for Jim to spend more on his team.

There are a number of ways to contribute. Please buy tickets. In addition, you can still buy bonds, which will pay interest and which will pay out a special bonus in the event of us making big money in one of the cup competitions.
