Stockport County has submitted a substantial proposal to SMBC with regard to the land on Booth Street which, if successful, will be a major step forward in securing the long-term future of the club. The Council has been more than co-operative in this process and we look forward to development with eagerness.

Putting Stockport County back on a steady footing has enabled the club to build relationships with credible business partners and, whilst as fans we appreciate there will be a torrent of excellent questions, the details of the proposal are commercially sensitive and no further information can be released at this time. Stockport County and the Trust are, however, committed to full and open communications and will be releasing further details as and when it is appropriate to do so.
