The 2006 UK Eurovision Song Contest entrant, Daz Sampson has recorded a track to honor Stockport County and the historic run of nine consecutive wins without conceeding a goal.

Stockport born Daz is a huge County fan and has been talking about writing a song about his favourite football team since last year. Unfortunatley his commitments during and after the Eurovision Song Contest kept him away from putting pen to paper - until now.

Daz told stockportcounty.com "I am a man on a mission to get the song in the charts and put Stockport County even more firmly on the map."

The track, titled 'Jim Gannon's Army Goes Marching On' is a tribute to Jim Gannon and his team. And theres a special mention for goalkeeper Wayne Hennesey for keeping nine consecutive clean sheets - a club record!

Daz has even been kind enough to donate all proceeds from the sale of the downloadable track, to the Stockport County Supporters Trust.
