Why set up a donation by Standing Order?
Being a club owned by the fans means we don't have our own millionaire (or billionaire) to go to when we need to raise money. We need to initiate fund raising schemes such as this one to raise as much money as possible from those that love Stockport County the most - the fans.
We have an average home support of around 5000 and if every one of those 5000 could donate £40 over the next 4 months then we would quickly reach our target of £200,000. We know that not everyone is able to donate £40 each, but any donation you can make to help with the renovations and help reach the target of £200,000 would be very gratefully received.
If we can widen the appeal even further to the 280,600 people that live in the borough of Stockport the more chance we have of raising the required money and the more Stockport County becomes a club for the fans.
